Hello there Followers
As the title reads, Its been a while since my last blog entry and so much has happened. Whilst I have been busy with work and completing courses along the way for school, I have had little time to get a whole heap of scrapping done, but I will upload a few scrap layouts that I have recently completed and a few that have been published and excepted for SBM (Scrapbooking Memories Magazine).
Its the School holidays here at present and I have been real busy so far with numerous projects, but most of all I'm currently studying to get started and complete my certificate III in Education Support. I would dearly love to have the last week of the holidays scrapping, so fingers crossed that I am able too.
I have some new inspiring photo's to use, so keep an ye out for those in the upcoming posts along with the layouts:) I recently spent some time up in the gulf and was able to take some happy snaps of a friends daughter Ari, who was a perfect candidate for some new and inspiring photo's. The morning sunrises were magical and mind you the afternoon sunsets were just as breathtaking, I will endeavour to upload a little later on.
Life is treating us well here in the north and I cant believe another year is almost to an end, but never mind, life is good and I am enjoying the ride so to speak!!
I have had two publications this year so far and another two are being published before the end of the year, I cant yet show them until after publication on my blog , so remember to pop by again to see them, unless you purchase the SBM magazine. Another layout has just been excepted for perusal this week, so fingers crossed on that one being also published.
The first layout that I had published this year was called 'Bomb Dive', a layout of my son Curtis doing his best impression of a bomb dive whilst we were on holidays at Mission Beach. It is a digital layout using the Heroic digital Kit from Traci Reed.

The second layout that was published was an entry that I had completed for a sketch challenge on the Scrap Therapy website here in Far North Queensland . I always love a good challenge and especially a sketch created from the wonderful DT member Mandy. I used a masking template for the cogs using Mod Podge and then detailing this with a memories mist spray. Here is the layout called 'Growing Fast'.
The other layouts to look for in the upcoming months in the SBM Magazine are as follows:
1. 'A Simple Man' ~ Vol 16 No. 3 (on sale 10 October 2013), my first ever double layout (digi)
2. 'Moto mad, just like her Dad' ~ Vol 16 No. 5 (on sale 05 December 2013)
3. 'Buddy Boy' ~ Yet to be advised about publication date.
Well that is it for the publications side of things at present, I have completed other layouts through out this year and some I yet haven't put up on my blog, so keep posted for more layouts and details to come.
I hope this post reaches you all safe and well and I look forward to posting again soon. Until then take care of yourselves and each other:)
Mwah & Hugs Angie xox
