I started scrapping nearly 2years ago. I wanted to send photos of my kids and their development with some journalling to my parents and in-laws as they live so far away. That's how I started scrapbooking. Now I am addicted to it. Not a day goes by without scrapbooking.I do both traditional and digital scrapbooking.

I have a crazzzzzz for sketches. Just saves time. Initially I used to hand draw them but now I used Photoshop to make them. I have a blog for them.

Here are my blog IDs

Pop in when you have time and leave some lovely words for me.

Then, I started making cards using them for all the birthdays, friends and family. I use all the bits and pieces to make them. I am a stamp addict right now. Love character stamps, Love painting them.

I design for Debs Creations. I have also been Guest designers for scrapbooking for online stores and couple of my layouts have been accepted for publication. I also on the creative team member for Aussie Pub Calls.

Well I have some fantastic news to share, I have been selected again to be published in Scrapbooking Memories again! YAHOOOOOO. The layout selected is called "I Will Survive", so I am so very excited to have another one going in for this year. I too have also had a lovely email from Annie Hilliar from the Scrapbook Hub! The scrapbook Hub is the "Promoting and showcasing of the Australasian Scrapbooking and Papercraft Industry" Annie asked if I could be added to the website in the resources section of their library for a challenged base blog site.

I have approved the offer and am delighted that someone has given Scrap.n.art such a wonderful opportunity to be advertised in that way. You can find my link to the Scrap.n.art Journey under the Library Hub sketches and page map area. The link is www.scrapbookhub.com.au

Thank you Annie, I really appreciate this and in true barter style, I will also be adding your link to Scrapbook Hub to my list of Inspirational Scrap Artist.

It's Cyber Crop weekend at Deb's Creations

Good Morning:):)

Welcome to the weekend! They seem to come around to quick I might mention.

This weekend over at Deb's Creations is the Cyber Crop weekend with some fantastic challenges in place and some wonderful prizes as well for your efforts if you are chosen the winner. It started last night at 7 pm EST and the challenges were set.

There are games to play along with while you scrap and some lucky prizes up for grabs. The challenges that have been set are over on the forum under Cyber Crop Weekend. The submission cut off date is the 27th of April 2009, I'm not sure of the time cut off though.

I started the first challenge last night for Amanda's challenge. The challenge was to use three letter's in your first name to create a colour theme for your page. I choose to use the letter's A,N,G out of my name with the colours for these being Aqua, Neutral and Gold.

I called my layout "Golden Child" and its of my son Curtis. He developed this nickname because he father said he was the first born. LOL

I hope to see you all over at Deb's, who knows you might just have as much fun as we are and win yourself a prize.... The link is : http://www.debscreations.net.au/

Thanks for looking.

The first layout is of Curtis on his first day going to Kindergarten called "ABC It's easy as 123" and the second layout is of a morning sunrise overlooking the beach here at home and its called "Peaceful".

Full credit though go to the creators of the gorgeous kits/elements and are as follows:

Tranquility kit: Julie Klaus ~ Julie Marie Designs

Alphabet Mix Kit: amber La Bau ~ Stolen Moments Designs

Both kits can be purchased from the Digital Candy Store and the link is:http://www.digitalcandy.us/

Home Page layout for S.S.W.

Good Morning Ladies

HAPPY EASTER FIRSTLY! HOPE THE EASTER BUNNY WAS GENEROUS TO YOU ALL:)

I would like to share with you a layout I have produced for Taryn Franklin, over at Scraptastic South West. Its for the homepage of the online shop, you can find the link here as follows: http://scraptasticsouthwest.com/

I have had these photo's for a year now, but just didn't know how I was going to place them all together and I really couldn't find the right papers until last month, when Taryn purchased the lovely "WE R Memories" Heart Attack range of patterned Papers. The layout is called " The 2008 Easter Parade"

The photo's were taken at Curtis Pre-school last year. I decided to make him a Australian Easter bilby hat instead of the traditional Easter bunny hat, well I tried to resemble the bilby anyhow:) The journaling for this layout is hidden underneath the main photo. All products except for the rub-ons can be purchased through Taryn's online store, feel free to drop by and have a look.

Thank you for taking the time to peruse my layout. I do hope that everyone is having a splendid Easter break, please take care of yourselves and each other until we see each other again:)

Mwah & Hugs Angie xoxoxox

Happy Easter

Good Morning Ladies

Well another week passes by here and what a week it has been. I finally received my hard drive back after the other one had virtually melted:(:(:(:(. Now I have my computer back, I have a lot to get back on track, so four days off will certainly help!!!!

Looking forward to answering all the emails I have and downloading some more wonderful digi kits. Thanks to everyone for being so patient with me.

This post is just to wish everyone a safe and wonderful Easter. Hope the Easter bunny is nice to you all and I hope you enjoy your time off.

Keep smiling :)

SSW ~ Technicolour -T Challenge

Hello Ladies

Here is the latest Technicolour - T Challenge for the month of April for the wonderful SSW (Scraptastic South West). Please refer to the previous posts in March regarding description of the new challenge and rules.

Please read from my list below of requirements needed.

1. Technique ~ Framing around your photo.
2. Colours ~ Black, White, Pink and Grey
3. Theme ~ Accomplishments in Life.

You objective is to create a layout using these elements above, but the emphasis being on the Technique ~ Framing. This technique can be used with paper, stamps, chipboard die cuts what ever you choose. I am providing as a added bonus a website link for you to see if you are unsure of how to create a frame around your layout.

Please follow this :
http://www.ehow.com/how_2198515_use-chipboard-frames-scrapbook-pages.html

Here is my example of what I have done using the above requirements. I used Patterned Paper to Frame around my photograph. I cut out carefully the flowers off my patterned paper and used this to fill one section of the top corner and the left hand side and bottom of the photograph with decorative border patterned paper. My Journaling reads, When you feel like the odds are stacked up against you, remember the big fella only gives you what he thinks you can handle. This layout is of my recent events of surviving Cervical Cancer.

Layouts are to be submitted to: enquiries@scraptastisouthwest.com.au by the 30th of April 2009 with the cut off time of 9.00 pm EST. The winner will be announced the next day being the 1st of May 2009 on the Scraptastic South West Blog.

There is a $20 voucher up for grabs for the lucky winner of the competition to spend in the Scraptastic South West online store. There has to be a minimum of three (3) participants (people) for the competition to be valid, equal and fair.

Best of luck to everyone entering, we look forward to seeing your wonderful creations.

Kind Regards Angie ~ Design Team Member for Scraptastic South West.

My Hard Drive is in HEAVEN! R.I.P.

Good Morning Ladies.

Well the worst was said to me yesterday. The computer shop Technician said that my main board has died, he actually showed me it and virtually it was fried, looks like when we had the huge storm the other day when the flooding started that my house was hit by lightening:(:(:(:( Mother nature can be cruel!

So looks like I'm starting all over again, I have lost everything that was on there, thank god I backup most things onto flashcard, now seriously thinking that an EHD will be the way to go from now on, so all that hard work cant be lost.

So its back to the laptop for the time being. Lucky I still have my laptop, otherwise I would be completely lost. In saying that I can still receive your wonderful creations and place them onto the slide show for the April Competition.

I have already received one entry, so this month's looks like its going to be a fabulous one, despite what has happened with my computer, having you ladies participating makes my computer troubles go away.

Anyhow just a little post to explain my situation, hope this reaches you all well and I hope your having a fabulous weekend.

Take care of yourselves and each other until we speak again.

Hugs Angie xox
