Sketchabilities #131 and Promo for White with One

Good Morning Followers

Well another month is already over for the beginning of 2015.  I officially back to work at school again and I just think the kids were ready to go back also!!  Its been an eventful holiday to say the least, many things happening here at home, but its keeping us on our toes.  Thank goodness for my down-time and being able to scrap, how I would have managed otherwise.

I thought Id drop a line and post a layout I have been working on recently for the Sketchabilities website.  The sketch number is #131, credits to the talented Karan Gerber for her wonderful design.  This is a little different to the normal challenges set at Sketchabilities, because they have teamed up with WW1 (White with One) website for this promo.   Details can be found on their website if you wish to participate.

Below you will find the sketches and my interpretation to follow.

CSI ~ Case # 151 & My Interpretation of the sketch :)

Good Afternoon Followers

Happy Hump Day! Well another Wednesday just seems to come around far to quickly for my liking!!  Anyhow, I hope this message finds you all safe and well:)

I just wanted to pop in and post about a fantastic challenge site called CSI.  They hold a great challenge with a Case File, the case file includes a colour scheme, evidence, testimony and occasionally a sketch.  Its great way when you need some inspiration and freedom to help overcome the scrapping mojo blues.  Feel free to pop in for yourself, the DT team and Participants are really nice and friendly.

So without rambling any further, I wanted to share with you my first ever layout I completed for CSI and the challenge Case #  151.  Although all credits are not mine of course as I downloaded the PSD file of the sketch to help create my finished design, so a BIG THANK YOU to Emma Stafrace for her gorgeous sketch design.

Credits also to Krystal Hartley from Sweet Shoppe Design for her beautiful digital kit which I had used called 'Free Sprit'.

Sketch # 130 from Sketchabilities and Dare to never look back layout

Good Morning Followers

Firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!  I do hope this year brings everyone happiness and prosperity and most of all peace and good health!

I have been missing in action the last 6 months due to health issues of my own and also my poor mother who is fighting the BIG C....  I have had to take care of her, when she came out of palliative care, she is making improvements slowly, but like everyone, she has good days and bad ones.  Here's hoping that 2015 can be a great year for us here and for you all too:)
